Retour à tous les événements
Ophélie Hocquard began her stand-up career in London, where she was twice nominated for the BBC New Comedy Awards (2017 and 2019). After a series of life events led her to step away from comedy and return to Paris, she's back on stage with her debut hour.
Part coming-of-age story, part cultural clash, the show follows her journey from a patriarchal French upbringing, through a feminist awakening in the UK, to the rediscovery of her Parisian roots.
With her signature deadpan delivery, Ophélie explores what it means to feel "behind" as a woman in her thirties and questions how a woman who was clearly destined to become a trophy housewife accidentally became a childfree witch who lives in a house full of crystals.
